15/2014 More Trinidad

Hi from Clare,                          Wednesday 7th May

AN UPDATE
So here we are in Trinidad plowing through our job list. I just re read our last newsletter and realized that nothing has changed except that we are getting to the end of the work list. Our cushions covers are progressing and should be finished by the end of the week. Delivery of the new Rocna anchor has been delayed until the 20th which is a bit of a nuisance, but that's life in Trinidad.

HOT AND STICKY
The weather is hot and humid and we are extremely glad to have the pool. We retreat there late in the afternoon eager to cool down and relax on the lounge with a sundowner. We have the company of English friends Paul and Janie on' Shian' and Ken and Judith on 'Badger's Sett', so it hasn't been all work. We have managed a few dinners out and we generally meet up with Paul and Janie at the pool each afternoon.

RESPITE
Tomorrow we set off to Tobago on the ferry for four days. We have booked accommodation at a resort and intend hiring a car to explore the island. This will be a timely rest in the work schedule and we will start again next week with new vigor.
Needless to say we are looking forward to the day we sail out of here and continue on our adventure.

Love Candy xx
PS we had trouble with the photo layout, sorry
